KUALA LUMPUR: Independent shuttler Lee Zii Jia has applied to the Kuala Lumpur High Court for an order to allow an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) of LZJ Management Sdn Bhd to proceed following the failure of an earlier meeting.

The application, filed on July 2, was not based on allegations of misconduct between the parties involved, but was intended to obtain a court order to hold the company's EGM, his lawyer, Ahmad Zayd Ahmad Zuber of Messrs Faisal & Zayd, said.

Ahmad Zayd said Zii Jia was also seeking an interim injunction to restrain his father, Lee Chee Hin, and his sister, Lee Zii Yii, from making certain financial and management decisions concerning LZJ Management while the legal dispute remained ongoing.
