KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian actress and TV presenter Ain Edruce recently splashed out RM8,000 on two Formula One (F1) tickets for the Malaysian Grand Prix at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC)—all to surprise her husband, Mirul.
Ain, 35, admitted she knew very little about F1 at the time. But she was determined to buy the tickets, even though she ended up paying double the regular price because most categories were already sold out.
Writing on Threads yesterday, Ain said: "I wanted to surprise Mirul with F1 tickets. I didn't know anything about the sport, but when I looked, almost everything was sold out.
"So, I quickly used the Viagogo app to grab two tickets. I couldn't wait to give him the news!
