KUALA LUMPUR: A physiotherapist who was seen crying beside Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad during his wife's funeral said he was deeply moved by the former prime minister's grief.
"Seeing Tun M (Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad) in such a state of sadness moved me so deeply that I shed tears," said Kevin Choo, 31.
Choo's presence beside Dr Mahathir during the funeral of his wife, Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali, on Monday drew attention on social media after he was seen crying alongside the former prime minister.
Sharing his experience, he said he had been providing physiotherapy treatment to the couple for the past two years.
"When I first started working with them, I felt a little shy and awkward because we all know who they are. But over time, we became more comfortable with each other.
