Foreign man feared buried in Lojing Highlands landslide

GUA MUSANG: A foreign man is feared buried in a landslide at workers' quarters on a vegetable farm in the Lojing Highlands here today.

Gua Musang Fire and Rescue Station chief Muhammad Azrul Izzham Zulkifli said the department received a distress call at 4.12pm, with a team arriving at the scene, about 92km away, at 5.30pm.

"There was a landslide involving a slope about 50m high," he said when contacted today.

Azrul said a search and rescue operation for the man began at 5.54pm, with assistance from the police.
