KUALA LUMPUR: Farm Price Holdings Bhd - a Johor-based wholesaler and distributor of fresh vegetables, food and beverage products and groceries - has declared its first dividend since listing on Bursa Malaysia in May 2024.

The company announced a single-tier interim dividend of 0.6 sen per share for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2026, involving a total payout of about RM2.7 million.

The dividend will be paid on Nov 11 to shareholders registered as at Oct 19.

Managing director Dr Lawrence Tiong Lee Chian said the maiden dividend reflected the group's confidence in its financial performance and cash flow position.

"This also demonstrates the financial discipline we have maintained in our operations, and we intend to continue rewarding our shareholders with regular dividends in the future, subject to the Group's cash flow position and capital requirements," he said.
