KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 20: PETRONAS has opened submissions for the second edition of the Energy Asia Awards, recognising initiatives in advancing stronger energy systems and creating lasting benefits for communities across the region.

According to a press release, building on the conference theme ‘Reshaping Resilient Energy Systems’, the awards spotlight practical responses to the challenges shaping Asia’s energy future.

“As the region navigates geopolitical tensions, rising demand, and climate imperatives, resilience will depend on more than securing energy supply.

“It will require approaches that balance reliability, affordability, and sustainability, while ensuring that the benefits of the energy transition are shared widely with no community left behind,” said the press release.
