KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's trading landscape is evolving as investors and active traders seek faster and more flexible ways to access global markets, with browser-based platforms emerging as an alternative to traditional desktop applications.
Olive Tree Property Consultants founder Samuel Tan said the shift towards web-based trading reflects changing expectations among traders, who increasingly want to manage their accounts across different devices without being tied to a dedicated trading workstation.
For active contracts-for-difference (CFDs) traders, this flexibility could be particularly relevant, as market movements can occur quickly and traders may need to access their accounts while away from their primary computers, he said.
