KUALA LUMPUR: The RM21.98 billion allocation to the Home Ministry under the 2027 Budget will strengthen security assets, border controls and technology to combat crime, said Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.

He said the allocation reflected the Madani government's commitment to safeguarding peace and public order, which he described as fundamental to national prosperity.

"The allocation for the Home Ministry of RM21,982,691,300 reflects the Madani government's firm resolve that peace and public order remain a priority.

"Allocations for welfare, stronger security assets, enhanced border control and the use of technology to combat crime showed that public safety and national sovereignty could not be compromised.
