HONG KONG: Actress Bambi Lok has announced her departure from showbiz just three years after making her debut.

In an Instagram Reel on Oct 8, the 23-year-old revealed that she decided after completing filming the 2026 drama Themis, in which she stars alongside renowned actress Charmaine Sheh.

She also said that she had moved to Canada nearly a month ago to further her studies in psychology.

"In my second year in the industry, I was given an opportunity that many might not get even after 10 years. But after filming Themis, I decided to walk away," she said.
