Securities Commission Malaysia previously obtained an arrest warrant for Serba Dinamik Holdings Bhd CEO and managing director Abdul Karim Abdullah.PETALING JAYA: Serba Dinamik Holdings Bhd’s CEO and managing director Abdul Karim Abdullah has been placed on an Interpol Red Notice, says Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.
Anwar revealed this in the Dewan Rakyat today, saying the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) resumed investigating Serba Dinamik's transactions in 2023 following the withdrawal of charges against the company in 2022.
The probe, he said, was extended to related cases including Sarawak Consolidated Industries Bhd (SCIB), which also involved Karim.
"This demonstrates an increase in the SC’s enforcement actions, both criminal and civil," he said.
