PUTRAJAYA: Barisan Nasional has assured that an internal dispute involving its component parties will be resolved before nomination day for the Melaka election this Saturday.
BN secretary-general Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir said he had met Melaka BN chairman Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh and MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong to seek a mutually agreed solution.
"We do not discuss openly or fight openly. If there are issues, we sit down, and I would like to state that, God willing, we can handle this well.
"I have met with the chief minister and the MCA president. We were able to sit together, and we will reach the best possible solution for Barisan Nasional," he said after officiating the Higher Education Ministry's monthly assembly here today.
