SEREMBAN: Negri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Ismail Lasim is seeking an audience with Yang di-Pertuan Besar Negeri Sembilan Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir to present the state government's plans for the next state legislative assembly sitting and the tabling of the 2027 state budget.

He said he was still trying to secure a suitable date and time for the audience.

"So far, I have not received the consent (for an audience with Tuanku Muhriz), but I am making efforts to meet him," he told reporters after the opening of Perpatih Fest 2026 at the Negri Sembilan State Museum grounds here today.

Also present were state legislative assembly speaker Datuk Seri Dr Awaluddin Said, state secretary Datuk Mohd Zafir Ibrahim, and Negeri Sembilan Museum Board director Aziz Mohd Gorip.
