KUALA LUMPUR: Differences in views or approaches between ministries do not necessarily reflect divisions within the government, says Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Instead, he said such differences are part of the policy discussion and consideration process, taking into account the respective responsibilities, jurisdictions, and priorities of each ministry.

The finance minister said this is to ensure the government agenda can be implemented effectively.

"The government consistently ensures coordination between ministries is carried out systematically to guarantee policy alignment, avoid overlapping functions, and ensure every decision is made based on the people's interests, national development priorities, and the government's financial capacity," he said.
