Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said political maturity demands that everyone prioritise national interests over self-serving politics.PETALING JAYA: Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said differing views should not hamper efforts to build a brighter future for the country, following the confidence and supply agreement (CSA) between the federal government and seven opposition MPs.

In a statement, Anwar said political maturity demands that everyone prioritise national interests over self-serving politics to ensure the country remains stable and the wellbeing of the people is preserved.

He said the CSA would help guarantee political stability, ensure continuity and allow for initiatives, including those outlined under the 2027 budget, to be implemented.
