Three Myanmar children charged at the Bukit Mertajam magistrates' court today with criminal intimidation of an elderly woman face up to two years' imprisonment, a fine, or both, if convicted.PETALING JAYA: Three children charged with criminally intimidating a 71-year-old woman last week will remain in custody until Nov 10 after the Bukit Mertajam magistrates’ court denied them bail today.

The Myanmarese children, two aged 11 and one aged 12, pleaded not guilty after the charges were read to them before magistrate Roshayati Radellah, reported Harian Metro.

The court fixed Nov 10 for the submission of documents and the appointment of a Myanmar interpreter to read the charges to the children again.
