PETALING JAYA: Follow-up action on audits by the national audit department resulted in revenue collection and repayments totalling RM920.91 million as of Sept 28, says law and institutional reform minister Azalina Othman Said.

She said the figure demonstrated that audits are effective when findings are followed by appropriate action.

"It proves that audits followed by action can result in the tangible recovery of public funds," she was quoted as saying by Bernama during the tabling of the Auditor-General's Report 2/2026 in the Dewan Rakyat today.
