TAIPEI: Taiwanese television host Darryl Kuo has opened up about the painful aftermath of a drug scandal that derailed his entertainment career, leaving him struggling financially and washing dishes at a café to make ends meet.
The 48-year-old, best known for hosting the red-carpet segment of Taiwan's annual Golden Bell Awards, recently returned to show business after a 10-year hiatus.
His career took a devastating turn in 2013 when he was caught smoking cannabis, damaging his reputation and leading to legal consequences.
