On June 1, 2026, Wan Norlida Mohd Norsaidi, 50, from Kampung Kedai Buluh here, went about her daily routine as usual, juggling her responsibilities as a worker and mother of seven.
Little did she know that a day later, she would face one of the most difficult moments of her life when the vehicle she was travelling in with her husband, Md Yunus Abdollah, 49, and three of their children — Ainul Maisarah, 20, Muhammad Amsyar Izzuddin, 12, and Ahmad Thaqif Iman, 10 — was involved in an accident.
The accident occurred in Sungai Bari, Setiu, Terengganu, as the family was returning home after attending a thanksgiving gathering. Wan Norlida sustained serious injuries that required three surgeries and more than four months of medical leave.
