KUALA LUMPUR: Samaiden Group Bhd's wholly owned subsidiary Samaiden Sdn Bhd has secured contracts for a 99.99 megawatt alternating current large-scale solar photovoltaic plant.
The contracts from Syarikat Pembenaan Yeoh Tiong Lay Sdn Bhd (YTLSB) cover engineering, construction and commissioning works, as well as the supply of solar components.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Samaiden said the contracts were entered into on Oct 2 for the development of the project under the Large Scale Solar 5+ (LSS5+) programme.
The project was among the LSS photovoltaic projects approved by the Energy Commission in September 2025 under the LSS5+ programme.
Samaiden said the scope includes the supply and delivery of materials, design, engineering, construction, testing and completion of the solar photovoltaic energy generating facility.
