KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia closed slightly higher on Friday, with the benchmark FBM KLCI rising 0.03 per cent, or 0.51 point, to 1,630 points after a sell-off.
The broader market was positive, with 585 gainers outpacing 541 decliners, while 558 counters were unchanged.
Zetrix AI, Jaks Resources and JCY International were among the most actively traded counters at the closing bell.
On the currency front, the ringgit closed slightly firmer against the US dollar at 4.0810.
Bitcoin was trading at around RM351,675, while Ethereum was trading at around RM11,221.
