KUALA LUMPUR: Muar member of parliament Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman and artiste Bella Astillah have invited the public to their wedding receptions in Muar, Johor, and Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
The receptions will be held on Oct 25 and 31 respectively.
"We hope to celebrate our union with as many people as possible, and that's why we decided to have this 'kenduri rakyat'," Syed Saddiq said.
He said the Muar reception would adopt a "rewang" concept, where guests could come together to celebrate the couple's wedding.
"Before this, our Hari Raya celebrations in Muar alone attracted 10,000 people, so we expect even more people to attend the kenduri.
