NILAI: A female officer from the Customs Department was found murdered at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) quarters, with her husband named as the suspect.
Negri Sembilan police chief Datuk Alzafny Ahmad confirmed that the police received information regarding the incident around 8.30 pm.
"The murder is believed to have been committed by her husband. The suspect also surrendered himself at a police station following the incident," he said when contacted by reporters.
He said police are currently conducting a detailed investigation at the scene to determine the motive behind the murder, as well as the exact time the incident occurred.
