SHAH ALAM, Oct 2 — The Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, today met and dined with two former Selangor menteris besar, Mohamad Khir Toyo and Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali, as well as the current Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari.
The special meeting took place after the recitation of Yasin, tahlil and prayers for safety held in conjunction with the Silver Jubilee celebration of His Royal Highness’ 25-year reign at the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Mosque, here.
“This meeting reflects the Sultan of Selangor’s continuous concern regarding the state’s direction and the people’s livelihood, whilst demonstrating the good relationship between the royal institution and the state’s administrative leadership, including those who previously shouldered the responsibility,” according to a post on the Selangor Royal Office Facebook page.
