SHAH ALAM: The Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, today met and dined with three of the state's Menteri Besar — two former office holders, Dr Mohamad Khir Toyo and Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali, and incumbent Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari.
The special meeting took place after a Yasin recitation, tahlil and prayers for safety held in conjunction with the Silver Jubilee celebration of His Royal Highness' 25th year of reign at the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Mosque here.
"This meeting reflects the Sultan of Selangor's continuous concern regarding the state's direction and the people's livelihood, whilst demonstrating the good relationship between the royal institution and the state's administrative leadership, including those who previously shouldered the responsibility," according to a post on the Selangor Royal Office Facebook page.
