KUCHING, Oct 20: The Ministry of Works is seeking opportunities to leverage the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe’s (UNECE) expertise in developing Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), road safety, and sustainable and climate-resilient transport infrastructure.
In a Facebook post, Works Minister Dato Sri Alexander Nanta Linggi said that this followed a meeting with UNECE held in Gangneung, South Korea.
The meeting provided an opportunity to explore the organisation’s support and expertise in promoting the use of existing, globally adopted solutions and instruments for Malaysia to consider when evaluating and assessing projects of various scales, including those implemented under Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs).
