KUALA LUMPUR: Pakatan Harapan (PH) component parties must respect the coalition's decision to allocate the Bemban state seat to a Bersatu candidate in the Melaka state election.
PH election director Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari said the decision took into account the understanding between PH and Bersatu for the polls, adding that it had been made collectively by the coalition.
"This is PH's decision and we should place a Bersatu representative in the Bemban state seat.
"Therefore, all party members should respect the decision reached through mutual understanding, as well as their respective parties," he said at a press conference here today.
