Melaka BN chairman Ab Rauf Yusoh said MCA would announce the outcome of the discussion between the party and the coalition’s leaders.PETALING JAYA: Melaka Barisan Nasional chairman Ab Rauf Yusoh has maintained that talks with MCA over seat allocations saw a positive outcome and that the dispute has been resolved.
However, Rauf said MCA would announce the outcome of the discussions, Astro Awani reported.
“We managed to resolve the deadlock that was causing problems. Let’s wait for MCA to announce the outcome of the negotiations I had with its leaders last night.
“For me, the discussion was positive. Wait for what was discussed. I can’t say yet,” he was quoted as saying after launching BN’s election machinery for the Masjid Tanah parliamentary seat tonight.
