KUANTAN: A foreigner was arrested for allegedly injuring an auxiliary policeman and damaging casino equipment at Sky Casino in Genting Highlands yesterday.
Acting Bentong police chief Deputy Superintendent Azmi Mahmod said preliminary investigations revealed that the 34-year-old man, believed to have been drunk, had behaved aggressively towards members of the public before entering the casino.
He said the man then damaged the screens of three gambling machines by repeatedly banging his head against them, as well as two chairs, resulting in estimated losses of RM85,000.
"The man sustained a forehead injury that required six stitches," he said in a statement.
