KOTA BARU: A Myanmar was charged at the Sessions Court here today with transporting six undocumented migrants in Wakaf Che Yeh on Oct 17.
However, no plea was recorded from the accused, Ye Yint Aung, before judge Nik Habri Muhamed.
The charge was read to the 28-year-old in Malay after he said he understood a little of the language.
The accused, who was driving a Honda HR-V, allegedly transported the six migrants, all Myanmar nationals, to MR J Hotel in Jalan Kuala Krai, near Wakaf Che Yeh, about 5am on Oct 17.
