SHAH ALAM, Oct 31 (Bernama) -- Communications Minister Datuk Seri Fahmi Fadzil today launched the National Courier Day 2026 (HKN2026) celebration, recognising the industry's RM6.9 billion contribution to the country's digital economy, at the Selangor International Trade Centre.
Themed "Sustaining the Industry, Strengthening Trust," the event was organised by the Malaysian Express Carriers Association (AMEC) with support from the Communications Ministry through the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).
MCMC said the government remains committed to strengthening the postal and courier industry through regulatory reform, strategic cooperation and digital transformation to improve service efficiency, industry competitiveness and consumer safety.
