MCA president Wee Ka Siong said DAP should reflect on losing the Bemban seat to Bersatu, while Melaka DAP chief Khoo Poay Tiong claimed MCA suffered a loss of dignity by submitting to Umno and PAS in seat talks.PETALING JAYA: MCA president Wee Ka Siong and Melaka DAP chief Khoo Poay Tiong traded barbs today over their respective coalition's electoral pacts for the Melaka polls, which resulted in both parties having to give up seats.

Khoo claimed MCA suffered a loss of dignity by submitting to Umno and PAS in seat talks, while Wee said DAP should reflect on losing the Bemban seat to Bersatu.

Wee said MCA had already anticipated a reduction in seat allocation for the Nov 14 election as compromises were inevitable when political parties form alliances, Sin Chew reported.
