SEPANG, Nov 1 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today spent time watching the 2026 Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix (GP) race at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC) here.
Anwar’s arrival was welcomed by Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Mohammed Taufiq Johari and SIC Chief Executive Officer Azhan Shafriman Hanif.
He was then brought to tour the K2 Hillstand spectator seating area before heading to the starting grid to mingle with spectators ahead of the MotoGP class race, which began at 3pm.
The atmosphere at the racing circuit was further enlightened by a rendition of the national anthem, Negaraku, by National Songstress Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza Tarudin.
