SINGAPORE, Nov 2 — It may have seemed like a close shave, but the dramatic landing attempt was all part of standard safety procedures for Singapore Airlines (SIA) pilots.
SIA pilots of flight SQ213 had to approach the runway twice and performed a “go-around” before safely land a plane amid strong winds in Perth, according to a Facebook video by user Chris Perry last Saturday (Oct 31).
The video has garnered over 2.6 million views, 7,300 likes and 1,800 comments as of Monday morning.
In the video, an SIA plane can be seen approaching the runway at Perth Airport.
