Bukit Aman CID director M Kumar said the doctor in question was a civil servant.PETALING JAYA: Police are investigating three lawyers representing the family of the late Noorizwan Zulkefly, who died in custody last month, for allegedly harassing a forensic specialist.
Bukit Aman criminal investigation department director M Kumar said the doctor in question, a civil servant, lodged a report against the lawyers, Bernama reported.
The case is being investigated for criminal intimidation, obstructing a public servant from discharging their duties, and threat of injury to a public servant under Sections 506, 186 and 189 of the Penal Code.
"The doctor is a civil servant and a police report has been lodged by her. Investigations are ongoing," he said.
