KOTA BARU: Twenty-four foreigners have been arrested by the Kelantan Immigration Department for using forged immigration stamps to enter Malaysia through the state's border.

Its director, Garry Belayong John Siki, said 20 of the arrests were made last year, while the remaining four were made this year.

"The arrests involved foreigners from several countries, including Indonesia, the Philippines, Cambodia, Thailand, Laos and India.

"They were detained in a series of enforcement operations across the state, including in Gua Musang, Pasir Mas and Tumpat," he said.
