Former research assistant Yusoff Rawther left the country in June last year and is now residing in the UK.KUALA LUMPUR: Former research assistant Yusoff Rawther's civil suit against Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim will go to pre-trial in January next year.

His lawyer, Rafique Rashid Ali, said High Court judge Raja Ahmad Mohzanuddin Shah Raja Mohzan, who was transferred to Ipoh effective Nov 1, would continue to preside over the trial via Zoom.

"The trial dates are fixed for Jan 27 to 29 and March 1 to 5," he said after case management in chambers today.

Rafique said Justice Raja Ahmad had also allowed the media to cover the proceedings online.
