Johor menteri besar Onn Hafiz Ghazi said Melaka voters have responded positively to the cooperation between BN and PN.JASIN: Johor Barisan Nasional chief Onn Hafiz Ghazi has defended his remarks that Pakatan Harapan is merely “wasting time and money” by contesting the Melaka state election.
Onn Hafiz said his comments about PH were based on feedback and information he had received, and his own observations on nomination day, which he claimed showed that Melaka voters had responded positively to the cooperation between BN and Perikatan Nasional.
“Overall, the people of Melaka have responded positively to the BN-PN alliance.
“So, the momentum is strong and will be reflected in the results on Nov 14,” he told reporters after attending a campaign event in support of Dr Akmal Saleh, the BN candidate defending the Merlimau state seat.
