KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Najib Razak's lawyers have called on the Commissioner-General of Prisons to transfer the former prime minister to his Jalan Langgak Duta residence tonight, in line with the King's decree.

Messrs Shafee & Co also urged the Attorney-General's Chambers to immediately withdraw the "temporary deferment" of Najib's house arrest.

"His Majesty's order must be implemented today," the firm said in a statement.
