MELAKA, Nov 8 — A Threads video is raising questions over whether traffic police gave a Barisan Nasional (BN) convoy priority at the time of a two-car accident at a junction on the Alor Gajah-Melaka Tengah-Jasin (AMJ) highway.
The video from a dashboard camera showed a car turning right at the traffic lights junction while another car was travelling straight when they collided, veering into the front vehicles on a third lane.
The video, posted by Threads user @alfshrf, was shared with claims that traffic police had held back road users to let the convoy through.
On social media, someone remarked that the convoy vehicles carried BN campaign stickers and asked what had earned the group priority on the road.
