ALOR GAJAH: Datuk Seri Najib Razak's family had prepared to welcome him home last Friday, but their hopes were dashed when the former prime minister remained at Kajang Prison.
His daughter, Nooryana Najwa, said the family was disappointed as they had made preparations in anticipation of his return but were still waiting for the authorities to provide an update on the implementation of his house arrest.
"My family is very disappointed. We had made preparations to welcome my father home last Friday.
"Unfortunately, our hopes have yet to materialise. Datuk Seri Najib is still at Kajang Prison, and we are waiting for the latest developments from the authorities," she said.
