KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 8 — Godzilla is back, and the King of the Monsters is bringing more than just another round of city-flattening destruction to Malaysian cinemas.
With Godzilla Minus Zero, Oscar-winning director Takashi Yamazaki delivers a sequel that ramps up the visual spectacle, unleashes thunderous sound and, crucially, retains the emotional weight that made its predecessor such a standout.
The follow-up to 2023’s Godzilla Minus One held a premiere screening on November 4 at GSC Mid Valley Megamall, which Malay Mail attended ahead of its nationwide release.
The film sees Godzilla return to wreak havoc, this time with an even greater threat in the form of King Ghidorah, setting the stage for a spectacular clash between two of cinema’s most iconic monsters.
