PETALING JAYA: Main Market-listed engineering solutions provider Kobay Technology Bhd reported revenue of RM130.2 million for its first quarter ended Sept 30, 2026 (Q1’27), up 17.5% from RM110.9 million posted in Q1’26.
The improvement was largely driven by the manufacturing division, which continued to benefit from the semiconductor industry’s expansion.
Revenue from the manufacturing segment advanced 33.7% to RM96.3 million in Q1’27 versus RM72 million a year ago, accounting for 73.9% of the group’s total revenue.
Profit before tax from the manufacturing division jumped 70.5% to RM21 million, compared with RM12.3 1 million in Q1’26.
