KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 6 — The widow of Captain Zainol Afiq Bee Sham, who was killed in last month’s Flying Doctor Service (FDS) helicopter crash, has criticised the Ministry of Health’s (MOH) lack of support for the victims’ families.
Referencing similar complaints from two Miri families, Nor Izzati Syamimi Suhaimi, 31, indicated that Layang Layang Aerospace Sdn Bhd, which operated the helicopter, had also covered the expenses of her late husband’s funeral. Zainol Afiq was the company’s employee.
“Don’t tell me MOH will just remain silent?” Izzati Syamimi posted on Instagram Stories yesterday.
“Don’t tell me that Layang Layang must pay for everything, while they (MOH) simply keep quiet as if nothing happened?
