PETALING JAYA: Hollywood thriller Primetime will not be screened in Malaysian cinemas after the Film Censorship Board banned it.
Local distributor Antenna Entertainments confirmed the decision in a social media post today and apologised to moviegoers who had been looking forward to its release.
“We regret to inform you that ‘Primetime’ will not be released in Malaysia. Unfortunately, the film has been banned by the Film Censorship Board,” the distributor said.
“We sincerely apologise for any disappointment and thank everyone for your support and interest in Primetime,” it added.
