PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang said the approach to political cooperation had to take into account the situation and needs of each state, including Melaka.PETALING JAYA: PAS and Barisan Nasional have reached an in-principle agreement on cooperation for the Melaka state election, says party president Abdul Hadi Awang.
However, Hadi said the number of seats and the candidates are still being negotiated, Sinar Harian reported.
"In principle, most of the negotiations have reached an agreement. But the number of seats and candidates will be discussed," he was quoted as saying after an event in Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu.
He said the approach to political cooperation had to take into account the circumstances and needs of each state, including Melaka.
