PETALING JAYA: The haze has cleared further, with no areas nationwide recording unhealthy air pollutant index (API) readings.
Three areas – Kota Kinabalu Polytechnic (40), Limbang (38) and Kota Kinabalu (34) – recorded good API readings as of 3.20pm today, while the rest of the country recorded moderate readings.
Seri Manjung in Perak, which just reached the unhealthy mark at 8am with a reading of 101, improved to 96 - the same reading recorded in Cheras in Kuala Lumpur.
API readings between zero and 50 are categorised as good, 51 to 100 as moderate, 101 to 200 as unhealthy, 201 to 300 as very unhealthy, and 301 and above as hazardous.
