KUALA LUMPUR: Petronas Chemicals Group Bhd (PetChem) has named Izwan Ismail as its new managing director and CEO effective Jan 1, 2027.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the petrochemical producer said the appointment was approved at a special meeting today.
In a separate filing, PetChem's board of directors took note of Mazuin Ismail's resignation as the managing director and CEO effective the same date following his retirement from the Petronas group.
PetChem said Izwan, 51, brings over 29 years of experience spanning finance, corporate planning, strategy, commercial management, operations, and technology.
