National squash players Ng Eain Yow and Ameeshenraj Chandaran clinched Malaysia's two winning points in their final against Pakistan at the Asian Games today.

PETALING JAYA: Ng Eain Yow spearheaded Malaysia’s charge to its ninth gold medal at the 2026 Asian Games today after the men’s squash team defeated Pakistan 2-0 in the final.

The world No 18 clinched the decisive point after battling past Pakistan’s Noor Zaman 11-8, 6-11, 7-11, 11-4, 11-5.

Earlier, Ameeshenraj Chandaran put Malaysia ahead by beating Nasir Iqbal 8-11, 11-3, 11-6, 11-4.

The victory marked Malaysia’s fourth squash gold at this year’s Aichi-Nagoya Games, and its third gold medal of the day.
