Negeri Sembilan police chief Alzafny Ahmad said police were alerted at approximately 8.30pm.

"The murder is believed to have been committed by her husband. The suspect surrendered himself at a police station following the incident," he was quoted as saying by Bernama when contacted by reporters yesterday.

Alzafny said police were conducting a detailed investigation at the scene to determine the motive for the murder, as well as the exact time it occurred.
