Misty mornings, leaves shining in bright red, yellow, and orange hues, and spooky creatures making an appearance — October has a very special charm. So, how about some new desktop wallpapers to celebrate October’s beauty, and the upcoming Halloween season, of course? Well, we’ve got you covered.
Just like it has been a monthly tradition here at Smashing Magazine for more than 15 years already, the wallpapers in this post were created by artists and designers from across the globe. All of them come in a variety of screen resolutions and can be downloaded for free. A huge thank-you to everyone who shared their designs with us — you are truly smashing!
Now, before you pick your favorite for the month, did you know that you can also get featured in one of our upcoming wallpapers posts? We are always looking for creative talent, so please don’t hesitate to join in. We’d love to see what you come up with!
